Background

The APS is the leading organisation for psychologists in Australia, it represents over 22,000 members and is the largest non-medical, health professional organisation in Australia.

Following a competitive technology vendor and integration partner selection process, the APS engaged Kentico and Levo to deliver on their strategic digital roadmap. The goal, to replace their aging technology platform to drive engagement with existing and prospective members.

Challenge

The APS existing websites were built on an aging bespoke CMS platform. The technology, whilst proven and robust, was heavily customised to suit the APS specific requirements, making updates and maintenance time consuming. In addition, their CRM system (Pivotal), acting as the source of truth for all critical information and functionality, was also highly customised to specifically fit the organisations unique business model.

Over 12 individual websites and web apps make up the current APS digital eco-system, each site is based on individual business requirements and over time the user experience became inconsistent as a result. Navigation, page layouts, branding and tone vary from site to site, content maintenance is time consuming due to the need to replicate the same or similar content across sites.

Outcome

Levo are currently integrating a staged rollout and migration to Kentico Enterprise Marketing Solution. The new website (under construction) will bring all sites into a single architecture, creating a central content hub that allows users access to information based on roles, responsibilities and location. Creation of a scalable services layer allows for seamless integration with multiple systems including third party API's, payment gateway and Pivotal CRM.

The APS undertook a comprehensive user experience analysis and design process, as as result the new webiste will offer offer a vastly improved customer experience and a fresh new look and feel . By engaging direct with APS stakeholders, Levo were able to create a simplified, flexible information architecture and design a modular template and widget structure. This has provided the APS with a platform to consolidate websites and to scale where and when required. The new website will provide an experience that better meets the needs of their varied target audiences and ensures that members are receiving the expertise and value that they expect from the APS.

Levo recently released the first phase, a digital experience to support the APS highly successful “Believe in Change” campaign. The website supports a public focussed advertising campaign (Cummins & Partners) delivered via traditional and digital media channels.
